Asís Echániz

Experience

Asis Echániz is the Head of Spain and a Partner in the Infrastructure team at EQT Partners. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Parques Reunidos, one of the largest leisure park operators in the world, and of Solarpack, a multinational specialized in the development, financing, construction, operation and management of utility scale solar photovoltaic power plants with presence in fast-growing markets in Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia and Africa. Additionally, he sits as an observer on the Boards of Saur, a leading French company in the management of drinking and waste water, and Aquapor, Portugal's leading water cycle management operator.

Mr. Echániz has developed his professional activity mainly in the business field, in particular in the private equity and infrastructure sectors. Prior to joining EQT Partners in 2017, Asís worked 4 years at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co (KKR), in the Private Equity and Infrastructure teams. Previously, he worked for more than three years as an associate at J.P. Morgan in the Investment Banking Division and as a consultant at Arthur D. Little for the first three years of his career.

Mr. Echániz holds an MBA from New York University Stern School of Business and London Business School and a degree in Industrial Engineering from ICAI Universidad Pontificia de Comillas.
